Nice work here Bruce! I'm with Tony. More contrasts would be nice, particularly in the fur of the wolf, but that is just a personal taste issue with me. This is a "cracker" of a bust isn't it? Well done.

Hi, Guys...thanks for the comments - I totally agree with you about the flesh tones. This is something I've been wanting/trying to improve for about a year. I've had no luck on getting my hands on the face painting article in the Vallejo magazine (2007 catalog?) - I'd like to lean towards that kind of style. This is my first attempt at completing an acrylic based figure (except for the armor which is a mix of printers inks and spray-buff metallics...like the airplane model builders use).

mate forget face and flesh painting how too's in model mags and go after portrait painting books, select carefully and they will give you all you want to know about flesh colours etc.....

Good work Bruce.
You can read as many articles as you want, but at the end you gotta do it yourself.
And belief me, that's a frustrating period after seeing all the good faces in the articels.
