WIP Roman Consul

Hello everyone,
this is what i am working on at the moment, still at the early stages. Beautiful figure from Alexandros Models, white metal, 54mm, sculpted by Adriano Laruccia, so very fine and lots of details. Painted in acrylics, all comments are welcome.

The amount of detail Adriano packs into a 54mm piece, is nothing short of remarkable.

just a little progress on this one. I would call the reds done. The blue is just the basic colour, no highlights amd shadows till now. All comments are welcome.

Perhaps define the lower leather sections more and push the highs on the lower edges

Good progress Stephan and as Kev says regarding the details.

Don't 'distress' or 'wear' the leather though as a Consul of Rome would have the 'Armani' clothing of the day and not the well-worn campaign leathers worn and passed on by one soldier to the next.
