Hello everybody,
after a couple of months of absence I am back again,
I am presenting my last work a 75mm roman legionary from Pegaso in which I have done some additions.
This soldier belongs to Legio III Italica on the upper Danube frontier during the ferocious Marcomannic wars (emperor Marcus Aurelius 161-180 AD). He is heavily armed with manicae (iron sleeve) and greaves on both legs. This Legion was hastily recruited in north Italy, in the winter of 166-167 in order to fill the gaps in the imperial army caused after heavy fighting with Marcomannic and Quadi Germanic tribes. The symbol of the legion was three pelicans.
The figure is painted in JoSonja's acrylics and the metallic parts with printers inks and oils, the base is also painted in oils.
Best regards,
Christos.

Wow
Chris welcome to join us again!
First this little conversion you did putting sheet metal on the feet and hands have changed radically miniature.
I also really like the designs on the shield is amazing.
As metals and soiling are also very plausible.!
