Could use a couple more to go against my RP Models Carthaginian war elephant kit.

Just wondering, would either of these (both also Irbis) work with the RP elephant (and indeed together & with the new figure) in terms of the uniforms being contemporaneous?

Both Republican era so maybe??

Perhaps
I think the guy on the right would be good to go, the guy on the left seems later in the Republican period. His helmet is the coolus, which would be 1st centruy BC. It would be pretty easy to convert it to an earlier Montefortino, though. The figure in the Op is wearing a Monteforino helmet. The other guy is wearing the Apulo, which is a helmet designed to look like the Greek Corinthian pushed back on the head, though its not meant to cover the face. From what I can tell, it was in used several centuries prior to the coolus. But overlap exists I think, and who knows when they are battling those elephants? Zama 202 bc? Probably good to go, especially if the coolus is made into the Montefortino.
