Hi Folks
This is my latest figure that I have managed to complete. I started it a while back and decided to spend a few days getting it finished off.

The kit is from Alexander Miniatures represents a Miles Legio X, 57-58b.c., 75mm in scale and sculpted by the very talent Yury Serebryakov.

Painted mainly in oils and printers inks with a few acrylic painted parts. Was a pleasure to paint, nice crisp detail and fits together very well.

I did not know what else to do with it, think I covered every aspect of detail in the paint, maybe? So any comments welcome good or bad.

Cheers
Tommi

Great paintjob, groundwork and presentation.
Thanks for sharing Tommi!

Absolutely stellar work--- The bronze coolus helmet and the metal finish of the Lorica Hamata and the Gladius & scabbard is excellent. Also, the tunic color you chose, is actually more authentic than the red tunics, which seem to be the fad--But that is my personal opinion

Many thanks for your kind words guys. The photos look a bit strange and grainy, never quite got the hang of taking photos of figures, they always tend to look different to the naked eye.

Cheers

I agree . If you allow me a question. Whay did you use to make the make dry bush back? Thanks.

Eduardo, the dried bush is made from roots from an old dead plant that I pulled from the garden and allowed to dry in the sun. I then done some acrylic washes in shades of green and brown and dry brushed with light flesh and white,

Hope this helps
Cheers
