A very fine job on this popular figure
I've never quite made my mind up about this piece, having said that I've painted 3.
What I think it's got is presence, a sort of solidity with smooth flat surfaces from head to toe that lends itself to all styles and levels of painting.
This helps everone in getting a very satisfactory result and yours here is well above average....you must be pleased with the way your work is progressing.

Cheers Del
.
Painted 3 and not mind your mind up really made me laugh..
I know what you mean about the smooth flat surface's.
In my early years of painting figure's my painting style was quite rigid and I was too concerned with what other people thought of my work I would make small progression's but just never felt happy with what I had painted.
When my illness went really bad I left figures alone for a while and just concentrated on plastic kits cars bikes planes etc.
About 8/9 years ago when I spent a while in the hospital, the doctors finally got my medication sorted out.
Since then I very rarely leave the house and closed myself off to live in my own little world.
I then started to paint a lot more figure's and was enjoying what I was doing.
At some point I decide, f&&& what other people thought this is about me and no-one else.
This was when I became quite loose in my painting style and felt that I was improving.
I got the internet about 4 years ago and found this site and decided to join and show my work(first time anyone apart from my wife and kids had seen my work for about 7 years)see pic below which was the first I posted here.
Having joined this site I found a lot of helpful tips and techniques which I incorporated into my painting,Ive also found the constructive criticism helpful.
So all in all Del,yes I am pleased with the way my work is progressing.
All the best.
Ralph.
