WIP Critique Roman Signifer Bust from Bonaparte miniatures

Hi Folks

This is another piece that I have near completion. Roman Signifer Bust from Bonaparte miniatures. It was a real joy to paint. I started this last year and only recently completed it. All painted in Acrylic’s.
Just a few minor details to finish.

This is for a private collector and will be going off to its new home in the USA very soon.

Bonapartes sculptor for this particular bust is Richard Bailey (British) he's sculpted many for Bonapartes over the years, He's got a very distinctive style & I like a lot of his work especially these neo-classic looking sculpts, it's a cracker eh!

I like the softness of transitions, the hair and fur. I agree with Jim, the face looks like the roman sculptures preserved.
