Thanks Nap, the main canvas and the little counterweights are made of milliput , and then some nail heads, braided brass cable and lead sheet... Very rudimentary stuff, but it worked quite wellGerard ,

I'm currently working on this project. I'm converting the Young's Signifer bust into a vexillarius (o vexillifer), for which I scratch builded a vexillum. Now I'm in the painting process, halfway done.

Thanks Mike, You are right that zone still needs quite a lot work. It looks like a raw chiken thigh for now.One thought you might want to consider is the right shoulder/arm looks a little clean & one dimensional in tones on my iPad.
Perhaps a chance to look at this part, realise it's still a work in progress so hope this helps.
