He is looking fantastic Dimitrios.......one of my favorite subjects.....The American Mountain Man.

To post multiple images in the same post you would need an Image storage such as Kitpic or photobucket.

www.kitpic.com is the image storeage I use and you can sign up for a free account or establish their Pro-account for a small amount. You can use the kitpic tutorial to learn the ins and outs of the Image Storage sign-in and the use of the kitpic. After clicking on the link below click on each screen to follow the easy step by step instructions.

Hope this helps

Dan thank you for the syggestion. In fact i started painting the beard black, but he turned out alot more savage than i wanted him to look. That's why i come to this brown color. You r absolutely right though on the contrast subject. The face doesn't seem to stand out.

I would dry-brush the lower strands of his beard with light gray / white to break up the browns and make him a little older Mountain man.

Dimitrios.

this is a very good painted figure. But i have to agree with Guy and Dan to redo the eyebrows and the beard. It looks all the same.
Further i can only enjoy the beutifull painting.

Dimitrios - I'm sure you'll get the shading right in the end. Actually I shouldn't give advice to painters since I ain't one! Not all that much of a sculptor either, come to that!

I forgot to ask earlier - who sculpted this figure? Is it yours? I really like that face and particularly the nose.

All the best,
Dan

dimitrios,
great stuff! Over all this is looking very nice! I agree that the hair could stand more contrast with the hat in back, but over all he looks great!
