Hi guys,

Here are the final pics of the 1/9th scale bust by Thunderbird Miniatures, sculpted by the great Carl Reid. :D

I really enjoyed painting this bust, and I'm pleased with the final result.

I hope you like it too.

Brilliant job you did on the bust Tony. Although not one of my favorite subjects it's a nice looking bust nonetheless.

Tony:

I'm the new guy on the block. Literally. . . New to membership here on PF and just
moved into a new to me residential neighborhood two weeks ago. Still looking for my
WN Series 7 brushes and lots of other modeling tools and paint.

However, I did want to take a mo to congratulate you on a fine job of painting this
most impressive piece of sculpture. I'm very impressed with the figure and the way the
hands are rendered. Very good detail work on the eyes as well.

Hi Guy, thanks mate.

Hi Pedro, thank you. I appreciate all the comments you've made on this bust.

Hi Stephen, thanks mate. Painting a great face is easy when its so well sculpted.

Hi John, this bust certainly stands out in my display cabinet amidst a see of khaki and green figures. I'm glad you like him.

Hi Richard, I suggest you get yourself this bust ASAP. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Brian, thanks for your comments mate. I'll check you Zulu out soon. Good luck with this bust. Just one tip - to prevent the head and neck not aligning, make sure you test fit the left arm first, so the back of his left hand is just touching his forehead. If you don't, you might end up with a gap, or the hand too close or too far away from the head
