Rourkes Drift Bust Again..

Very interesting stuff; There are a couple of dvd's out there that I plan on getting.
Still prepping this bust.Fit and trying to get the figure to look right.IE: getting the right tilt on the head along with the left hand to mesh with the forehead.Don't want it to look like it's posed.This(for me anyway) is not a glue and go.)
Just wondering.......Were there any grey beards out there fighting those Zulu's.........Regards............Wayne

Here is one of the Rorke's Drift defenders, bottom right, as you can see he is definitely sporting a grey full set.

If I remember correctly the two holes in the side of a Royal Marine Pith Helmet were for ventilation. Dont half make your head sweat when you have had it on for a couple of hours.

Correct mate, although all new ones issued now don't have them, probably has something to do with lack of foreign travel and service
The caps also had them
