This is the second of three flats Roy sent me is titled "Action At Dennewitz" and is 75mm in size cast in resin. I have found these to be extremely difficult to photograph but have arrived with about 5 out of 36 photos I took.

The flat is taken from a painting by Werner Schuh. A black and white print was found in Osprey's Campaign series 25, Leiprig 1813.

Here is the finished flat painted by Roy.

Below are several photos of the actual flat I recieved from Roy with the mold flash still attached. This flash will take carefull cutting away with a new xacto knife in a flat surface. I am still amazed at the attention to detail Roy has managed to sculpt into the flat. The horse anatomy is excellent with the muscles of the horse clearly defined. The braiding on the jacket is better than some full round figures I have seen.

My hat goes off to Roy for a beautifully sculpted flat that I shall enjoy painting.

Great sculpting painted by a great painter must ended in a masterpiece.

Guy, you can do that. So make the brushes wet and let us all enjoy the party with pictures.

Roy, Another great flat. Your flats have caused a bit of a stur around here, which can only help to further the interests of painters and sculptors alike.~Gary
