Roy Hunt Samurai flat

My dear old friend Roy sculpted and produced this about 15 years ago (I think!) Not long after, I had a stab at painting him. You may still be able to get hold of one through E Greco Miniatures, I'm not sure. Anyway, painted in oils about 15 years ago. Basically, I found him in the back of a drawer. I hope you like.

Really beautifully done, I have mine lurking in a cupboard somewhere, painted and framed, Roy definitely had magical fingers and I still use a couple of the brass sculpting tools he made.

El Greco don't have this one, but they still have Roy's Tamerlane.

I missed this thread , great to see this piece being painted , a good choice , nicely finished

I remember sitting next to Roy @ a Aldershot Show ( in Princess Hall I believe) and just staring at his skill ....he was so happy to answer my constant barrage of questions ...sadly missed
