Finished the tassels and white ribbons.
I worked on the hand to add lights, shadows and nails.
Next step is left hand, and start working on the gaiters and flag pole.

Hello folks,
Worked on this officer after work today.
I had him left out for a while since i am working on my little 40mm army.
I did some touch ups on the coat, gave it an overall wash with dark prussian blue to darkened and blend the areas and final lights.
I did some touch ups on the face and added the hand and ruffle shirt cuff.
Still lots of details to fox/work on and then moving to the flag pole and positioning the flag on the base.

Daniel, this figure is really looking sharp. All your concentrated hard work is really paying off. The flag may not be perfect, but it sure looks great to these old eyes. I enjoyed going back to the beginning and watching the SBS progress in time lapse. Just wondering why you picked Hesse- Darmstadt? That's not a popular figure, but I like the blue/orange uniform. And the cool grey panys works well. Very nice.

Thanks for your kind comments Pete :)
I have quite few figures of the classic sculptor Labayen, and want to paint unusual regiments like the Irish, swiss and German regiments serving the French King.
I will have few of them in white uniform as well.
Glad you enjoy the sbs.
Regards
