Hi Folks,
This is my 3rd and final Elan13 Miniatures ECW figure off my bench.
He represents Sir Edward Stradling's, 2nd Captain’s standard bearer, c.1643 (a Royalist, for a change).
Painting is oils over enamels with printers inks for the metal items.

Thank you Paul.
Just one word of advice.
Drill the holes for the spurs, but don't fit them until you've finished everything else.
I speak from a double experience.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew

That's a very colourful figure , the blues look good and nice detail painting on the colour

Certainly a imposing piece and with many painting options

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our FOTM comp and also vote in previous months classes as well as voting in Vignette & Diorama comp #2

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Very nice work again Andrew! Reminds me of my days in the Sealed Knot many moons ago. Going to have to check Elan 13 out, as there is a lot about the ECW that attracts me.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your kind comment.
It's a very nice figure from Rob's talented fingers, and great fun to paint.
The choice of flags is limitless, and depends on how simple or intricate you want to go.

Cheers,
Andrew

Many thanks for your kind comment Phil.
Rob's ECW range is quite extensive in both 54mm and 65mm.
I've painted quite a few of them.

Cheers,
Andrew
