WIP RP Models Mithridates the King Part 2 Unpainted 75mm Figure

A macabre view of severed body parts as I start my next project of RP Models great Mithridates set. I am doing Parts 1 and 2, but starting with Part 2. I just love the movement in these models!

Just trying to get the base paints on and having fun choosing the colours. Some may be a little unorthodox, but it's my model so there!

All suggestions and comments welcome though.

Good grief I was in shock , never seen so many legs ....lol

Seriously a good start on the base colours ....it’s all about enjoying the bench time

RP have a excellent reputation , I’ve had the pleasure to work with them on some pieces

If I might suggest you look in the Articles part , tabs at top of page there’s a good explanation on eyes

Thank you Nap. A bit of a butcher's block!

Good shout on the eyes, I will take a look.

Flesh tones are driving me up the wall trying to get a decent look and feel (ooer missus!). I looked at the referrals on my post about help with this that was greatly appreciated. I bought Vallejo flesh tones acrylics and now working out the various hues.

Looks great but it would send me the rest of the way around the bend to be painting so many separate pieces. Seems it works well for you and that's what counts, will follow with interest.
