Samurai bust

Keith, you are correct. I will stand corrected but this is simply a conversion of the 90mm Kato Kyomasa (not too sure about name spelling) Pegaso figure effectively 'chopped' to make a small bust. I also saw this at Euro in their cabinet and I am 99,9% convinced it is simply a cut down of their 90mm fig. That's not to say it is not superb (I bought the 'full' 90mm figure and it is) but it's certainly nothing new or radical. Still, in the current economic climate, this may well be a logical step forward in promoting sales what with their 90mm range (single foot figs) now the wrong side of £100.00 retail.

See you Friday mate.

Was this not in the Pegaso cabinet at Euro?
It's very small for a Bust and just a revamp of something that already exists, or have I missed the point here?

Keith

First of all thanks to Pedro for posting the news...(y)

Yes the figure is the third of a line started in collaboration with Pegaso, but released by La Ruota del Tempo (The Wheel of Time) under license.
In fact are all figure of 90mm range of pegaso, cutted to make little bust.
The idea starts from my desire to paint some really beautiful 90mm ad from my love for little bust (not the normal 200mm).
So I spoke with Pegaso guys to make this line that, in fact, is also interesting for Pegaso, because of their large range of beautiful but old figure (old, and so not known by new modellers).

The busts, nevertheless, are not only cutted, but modified in some details, so, in some way, really new.
For the first two bust a new face was sculpted. About this Roberto De Meo sculpted a completely new helm (Kawari Kabuto), so this figure is not Kiyomasa, but another Daimyo.
Underhere you can see an image of the first two busts released
Thanks for your interest.
Massimo
