Hi everyone,
After many years seeing and learning every day with yours small big works of art, I have decided to post the last one of my works.
Here I leave this figure for the examination of yours master's eyes.
The figure has 47 mm from the feet up to the head, and it is realized with white milliput, except the shoes that are from the booth.
I have tried to give it texture of leather turned in the jacket, as well as skin of lamb in handles and lapels.
Also I have tried to put texture of wool in the jersey or sweter that is up to the throat.
Little plastic for the buttons and thread of copper for the cords they finish the set.
I hope that it likes to you and thank you very much for yours commentaries, they will be very well appreciated.

Jaime, great sculpting and detail work for so small a scale, is she going to be pulling something along. Look forward to following progress.

Cheers Ken

Impressive piece of sculpting! You definitely achieved the looks of an old lady.

I'm curious as to what she is doing with her hand behind her back? Can you say something about it?

Cheers,
Adrian

Ken, Adrian, Karl,.... Thank you very much to all for your nice words.

The figure is realized for a diorama that I am preparing. (WIP)
The old woman tries to escape of the grasp from a German soldier. She takes a handkerchief in her hand because the scene is sad.
I leave you a photography of the scene, which though, it is not definitively mounted and to be absent of fitting, can give an idea of the action.

Thank you very much for your observation Michael.

Really she looks like a bit "he" because I looked for this effect.
I have another head sculpted of another younger very "feminine" woman but with fewer expression. Seeing photos of civilians of this time-war, I saw how the old women had a face very punished by her rural life and by the war, for what I looked for a bit more of dramatic quality in her expression.
When I has a minute I will photograph this head in order that you see her.

Please, excuse my english, but it is not my mother language. I hope that there is understood what I want to say.

i think you have captured a peasant woman of this period very well and you have done a great job on the sculpting, a very nice looking figure.

Wonderful to see sculptures being done and designed to interact with each other as a vignette,,,not enough being done like that at all, in my opinion. Congratulations on telling a story , rather than just a painting showcase.
The one area that struck me is; on a woman that age, who has seen the ravages of war, her breast looks something like a starlet may have...augmented. I just feel that it should not be so prominent and perfect on a women this old...it would be lower and not as "perfect" I think; perhaps if you used the younger head you mentioned, the sexual aspect would come in to play more readily.
Just my two cents...

Phil, Thank you very much for your observation.
I believe that you have reason, of equal form that other persons have said to me exactly the same thing: "Perhaps, ****ies too big."
I will sand the zone of her breast to reduce volume.
