Russian Tank Commander 1944
Sculpted & Painted by Hroyuki Ishii
1/10th scale resin - 11 parts
Young Miniature's July release brought us a 1/10th scale resin Russian Tank Commander sculpted and painted by the talented Hroyuki Ishii. Cast in yellow resin the kit consists of 11 resin parts.
Arriving in Young's sturdy black box with all parts sandwiched between layers of foam the small parts are sealed inside a zip-lok bag to insure against loss while being shipped. The bottom photo shows all the parts to this kit out of the box and bag and ready for inspection and to be photographed.
Above you see various views of the separate cast head showing the angles from all sides. The Tanker helmet is cast in several parts for better realism.
Above are the separate cast parts for the remainder of the helmet as well as the straps and cigarette.
Above you see multiple views of the bust torso showing the excellent level of detail Hroyuki has sculpted into this bust.
Above is the top and bottom of the separate cast jacket collar.

Conclusion:
Another classic bust from the talented hands of Hroyuki Ishii for Young Miniatures. Highly recommended for the bust collectors and painters.

That's me! Guy, another spectacular review of yet another stunning Young release. I have a sculptor-crush on Hiroyuki Ishii, and I'm man enough to admit it!
Thanks for the review! Another must-have for me. Now if someone could wake up Belgian customs out of their summer slumber, which BTW closely follows their hibernation, I might be able to get one of these in this lifetime!
Been working on the face for two days. Really want to steal that trick from Mr Ishii and give the commander some wonderful redness around and on the nose. And not with much success.
Personally the greatest aspect of this kit is the way the jacket has been micro-managed down to the smallest , least visible fold. I am not afraid to admit too that I have a massive crush on Mr Ishii.
