Jeff Shius Miniatures, s.Pz.Kp./ss-Pz.Rgt.2,The Reich, Zhitomir December 1943!
1/16...built straight out of the box, a lot of rework was necessary to get a satisfactory result! Many weapons from the accessories have been added!
The Tiger is an Andy Hobby, also built without modification

Hi Hauke

Great to see what you’ve been working on , a very extensive project and a fine result , that’s a lot of figures to do and all are well painted with a lot of variety , all interactive, particularly like the Tigers driver and the white camo

As for the Tiger , that looks a mass of work , liking the damage and the weathering , very effective

Why not look at entering into one of the comps as well

Thanks for sharing

Very interesting to see

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Great looking piece, lovely figures and a fine looking Tiger, bet this takes up a good percentage of the cabinet.

Cheers Simon

I never sold these three sets of Fallschirmjager to you even you placed order!? where you bought from? from re-casters?

If figures were bought from re-casters, no matter why you need so many replacement:ROFLMAO: ! Jeff

A very disturbing reaction from a manufacturer when someone bought a large number of his products and displays them on PF as a kind of free advertisement. Instead of a like and a praise our member Hauke is getting accused of buying recasts and any possible flaw in the production is brushed off to the quality of allegedly recasted products. - After pictures of the boxes are provided as evidence that the models are genuine - still no word of apology or a comment about the quality of the finished job on display.
I like Jeff, had always a good experience as a customer and nobody is perfect - therefore I was biting my tongue so far - but while waging war on recasters Jeff should maybe take a closer look at products of his own line:

If necessary I will add another picture of my genuine Schwere Panzerbuechse 41 from Kirin - even the numbers on the carriers of the parts and the complete breakdown of the parts match with Jeff`s product. Without doubt the figures of Jeff`s line are his originals but if recasters are so much an issue the own product line should better be 100% genuine. High horses take long falls.

(y)(y) Great job, Hauke!
Cheers, Martin

Thanks Martin, yes you have to put up with the suspicions.....but I'll tell the story again....! I actually only complained to Jeff about the poor quality! For 600 dollars, you can do that too.....then I get an answer that I don't like! There is no more for the money, was the answer! deformed figures, holes, broken weapons, thin helmets.....already broken.....that was delivered for free! further emails were not answered, I don't care then we'll just make it public! I also sent thousands of dollars to Jeff before the debacle...a bit ungrateful in my opinion! I can only recommend if you really need the figures... it's best to just look at the boxes, then they're good

Nothing I can say when saw the pic(n) ! Jeff

Well, were it me, I'd apologize. I realize there is a language gap here but not acceptable. And the obsession about recasters has become tiresome. It's too bad because I feel people here rave over your figures even though they seem to be poor quality with terrible customer service. You're lucky to have such support. Recasters probably have better customer service.

I like Jeff's figures, I have a number of his earlier releases bought direct from him, plus some (originals I might add) that I've bought off other guys offloading them from their stashes. And buying from him in the past never used to be an issue. But his absolute paranoia about recasters, constantly treating his customer base with suspicion (as evidenced here) and e-mails going unanswered are three reasons that I've stopped buying from him. That and the widely-reported quality & casting issues with many of his more recent releases.

The irony is that his hostile attitude and his slapdash approach to communication are likely having the opposite effect to the one intended, by putting guys off buying from him and driving them into the arms of the very same recasters that he keeps obsessing about. All very counter-productive really, and a bit sad.

+1 to that.

About as succinct but conclusive a summary as one can get Steve. Perhaps Jeff ought to be looking towards his own 50 'Band of Brothers' he says he exclusively sells his figures to (and rejects new customers) as to who amongst them is passing his figures on to the recasters rather than another hair-trigger "recast!" response to decent and honest modellers simply exhibiting their fine models here on PF.
