i am about to build tamiya models pink panther and am looking for figures for a small diorama-i saw somewhere 2 figures who are fairly new -stripped to the waist, and would be suitable (resin figures), also suitable weapons-slr-etc--if anyone can help,i would appreciate it-thank you./ badger

When the vehicles arrived in theatre, they were new, shiny and green.
I'm going to digress now.
There was a load of red lead paint, easily diluted, diesel, petrol.
Bearing in mind there was still a few ex Regt lads that served in WW2.
They all must have sat thinking as they stroked each other's beards.
As they pulled up a couple of sandbags, made a brew, one of must have swung a lamp.
The consensus?
Bright green, no!
Red lead diluted, yeah, hansom!
More to the point, pink works.
Something to do with the electromagnetic spectrum,
whatever that is.

The pink color came from the experiences of the Long Range Desert Group in the Sahara. They found that it was an incredibly easy color to disguise in the sands, especially at dawn and dusk. This earned them the nickname “Pink Panther,” or “Pinkie” for short ..........
