Top stuff mate!
Great ground work you've got going on there. And those tiger stripes on the uniform couldn't have been easy either. Well done mate, look forward to seeing more stuff.

Welcome to PF Mark!
Excellent Tiger stripe and nice effect of the figure's movement through the water. Your last name sounds familiar, did you do an Aussie SAS Nam figure a few years ago?

Leigh

The vignette with the half figure in the water is really nice, aside the beautiful camo.
It remembers me an old picture (dont know if the source is Time, Life or whatever). Very original, I like it.

Mark, Welcome to Pf. That is really nice. The tigerstripwe is well done and the water is fantastic. The ripples and color on spot on. Let's see more.~Gary

Welcome to the planet, Mark.

Your figure and the base are looking pretty good. Just one question: What have you used for the leaves? Looks really realistic.

I hope to see more of your works.

Kind regards,
Markus

Mark, good work, I like everything about it.
Welcome to our community and please continue to post.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Hi Mark, this looks good. The camo looks right, the water's great and I think the vegatation is brilliant - really convincing - only thing I would add is more gloss to the upper surfaces. Is this done with paper?

The dirt on the weapon looks a little off to me, like just a polite dusting on the surface, although I'm not sure what I'd aim for doing this subject myself.

Hi Mark. A BIG WELCOME to planet figure . I have to say to everyone out there I have had the privilege to see Marks figure in the flesh, and it is a beauty. At the New Zealand I.P.M.S Nationals just a few weeks ago this figure received a silver medal and alot of attention which was know surprise.Looking forward to see more of your great work Mark.Kind regards John ;) ;) :)

Welcome Mark
Like John, I saw it in the flesh at the NZ IPMS nats as well. Brillant mate, brillant.
I would say that being an ex Vietnam period vet wouldn't I.
I have a soft spot for the period and I also work in 120mm.
Mind you I saw lots of John's items in the flesh as well so that was a bonus.
Keep churning them out.
Rod

Lovely job there, Mark! It really has that little something that just makes you want to keep looking... And that Stoner-rifle is the perfect choice for that vignette.
Looking forward to see more of your work!

Hi Guys sorry for not replying sooner but I'm new to this computer world. Its thanks to JB I'm now here. First off a big thanks for the warm welcome to PF and comments about the S.E.A.L , very much appreciated. Leigh, yeah I did the Aussie SAS figure. I'm planning on doing a NZ SAS(nam) figure in the future.Luca, thank s for the attachment, this was exactly the image I was looking for when I was building the water/ground work. Marcus, the ground work was made out of various materials, photo etched grasses, dried out foliages and artificial plants. The artificial leaves were all cut down to scale and everything was then painted. I expected this all to be very time consuming but it turned out to be lots of fun experimenting with different colours, tones and textures. The water was sculpted out of milliput and wet sanded back to a high finish, then painted adding shadows and highlights. This was finished off with endless coats of gloss and semigloss until I felt the desired effect was achieved ( I hope I achieved this). Gidday Phil, long time no hear. Great to see the RSM Mr Nobbie Clarke para bust on the market, along with the commando. John had Nobbie done for the nationals, got a good response and a gold for him. To everyone else again a big thanks for your comments and encouragement. Cheers Mark.
