Brandneu von "Sabot Miniatures"...:

Titel: Don Cossack 1918; 4th Regiment of the Don Cossack Host
Scale: 1:10
Resin
Sculptor: James Rice
Boxart:James Rice
Number: SMFB003
Price: $ 70.00 plus shipping

The half figure is based very precisely on a picture from the Osprey volume about the "white" army in the Russian Civil War, which shows a Prikashnij (private 1st class) of the 19th Don Regiment - only that "Sabot" made it one of the 4th Don Regiment - after my "Kusma Kryuchkov", which was partly based on the same picture....:

The time of the Cossack is by no means limited to "1918" - he wears the uniform M 1910 together with the peace cap and the peace shoulder pieces that date from the time before ...

Cheers

Reckon it might join mine as well

Sabot who consist of James Rice and Bret Avants are certainly a company to watch out for

Actually a very nice looking piece, not many people would notice the circulatory anatomy of the hands. I do and would change the right hand. How do I know this?. I painted and built the Renwal Visible Man when I was a kid..... Overall I think it's an excellent looking piece.
