I am one inconsolable metalhead today :(
Last night I heard that my favorite guitarist, from my favorite band died yesterday morning.

Jeff Hanneman, 49, guitarist and co-founder of the best Metal band of all time, SLAYER, died of liver failure... a complication from, of all things, a spider bite! The bite became an infection that became Necrotizing Faceitus... Flesh eating disease! It's like one of the band's songs came true. After over a year of fighting this, including a medically induced coma, skin grafts and rehab his liver packed it in. Tragic!

I don't know if there are any other Slayer fans on PF, but I thought I'd unload anyway. I think that a memorial sculpt of my fav musician will jump the queue of anything else I'm doing right now. I'd planned a sculpt of Jeff and his fellow Slayer guitarist, Kerry King... but I think a single sculpt of Jeff is in order now.

Thanx for letting me vent...

Hey Colin,
Heard about on the boneyard 2 days ago but didn't except to here about it on PF.
Seems like Haunting the chapel wasn't that long ago.
If he works out like Lemmy it will be worth the wait.
All the best
Paul
