That lettering is superb in your 'rough' state.
Get it much better and someone might think you've applied decals.
Very, very well done.

Cheers,
Andrew

This is coming along great. Looking wonderful, and as others have mentioned - the lettering is looking good (y) 90mm is the largest size figures I can tackle, so at 120mm, it's even more impressive!

Phil

Superb Tony just Superb, as people have said I have not seen this painted for nearly 15- 20 years. Excellent standard.

Hi guys, thanks to everyone who posted comments on this thread. They are truly appreciated.

Well the figure is completed and I had the pleasure of giving it to my mate Sam on Saturday. He was suitably impressed and took Sailor home and placed him straight into his display cabinet next to some of his prized modelling possessions. He posted this photo on Facebook yesterday to show Sailor in his new digs, although I'm not sure what he makes of the tall, golden robot next to him.

It gives me a lot of pleasure to give my figures away to people who I know will appreciate them.

Hi Tony,

I have the Sailor figure in my grey army & am considering having a crack at it.
The back of the neck hole in the torso has a big V lug in it but there is no corresponding notch in the neck/head piece.
What is the V lug supposed to key in to? Am I missing a part? Your thoughts?

Regards ... Ian Melbourne
