I present my miniature, made to order - sailor of the naval crews defending city, repairing the old boot between the fights.

Scale 1/30 (54 мм).

Socks in those days did not use, but footwraps (or footcloths) yes.
His footwrap from left foot is wound on a stick on which a boot is mounted.

In the boots the Russian soldier wore so-called "портянки" ( spoken "Portjanki" - footwraps from fabric or thin leather flaps).



These "Portjanki" were in use for centuries - and were abolished in the Russian army until January 2013.
