Hi there on PF!
Let me show you what I'm acctually spending my time on:
This fantastic bust (half a figure) from Romeo Models. Most of the paint work already done. Still needs some work on arms hair, feathers and painting the backside of the mantle. He still lacks a pair of javelins and the huge hoplon shield which measures, at this scale, 9cm diameter!:dead:
I'll post the final pictures in a few days..Hope you like it!

Cheers,
Gerard :)

Love the stern look on the face, the fleshtones are excellent Gerard. Waiting to see the finished piece. Beautiful work. Regards, SG:happy:

Well done. I particularly like the look of the helmet. Would love to know how you acheived it.
Basically I've used the Andrea acrylics gold set, mixing the acrilic paint with red brown tints of the same set to achieve the bronze effect. Also used Vallejo transparent smoke to make some shadows and dark washes

The hoplon in an early stage.
Needs a lot of corrections on the freehand work ( and the dorsal fin of the dolphin), and after that the funny time of weathering, chipping and scratching..:playful:
The reason I've choosen this figure is that there are two animals carved on the helmet, A raging bull on the front sides and dolphins decorating the backside.Since in the boxart painting appeared a bull's head I've decided to choose the other logical option.
