Sand Pebbles Sailor...Sort of

Here is another of my finally finished figures. This one came from the 2005 Atlanta Military Figure show. It was their 'give-away' show figure. It is 54mm, and sculpted by Alan Ball, but modified with an Historex head and my own attempt at sculpting a 'Dixie Cup' sailor hat. The original figure has a steel helmet. The figure is based on a US Navy Landing Party Member in China. He is carrying a BAR.
He is painted in acrylics, and I don't like painting white uniforms!

Nice painting. The contrast between the white and khaki shades is very effective.
