Hi to all,

Here is the SBS of one of my latest figures" Santa's rest" the figure is available by Andrea Miniatures

The scale is 1/30 (54mm) y and it's made of Sculpey, fimo and milliput, I hope you like it

For the elfs I've made a anatomy base, and I've worked on metal copies

Joaquin, congratulations that is an amazing sculpt.
I see you've listed the materials used , am I correct that the 1st pic is milliput, then the 2nd pic (dark green ) is Sculpey or Fimo or is it a mix of both. What then is the white material ? :)

Many thanks foe showing.

Cheers Ken

Looks like the main part of the sculpt was done in Duro then a resin casting was made and then completed.

Excellent work, truly an inspiration!

Wow!

Very impressive to see how such a piece comes into being!

Interesting camouflage pattern on the slippers, by the way...

Thanks to all, I'm very happy you like the figure :)

Yes, the base for the anatomy is Milliput, and the green putty is Fimo+Sculpey firm (50/50)
The white material is a resin copy to save the figure and make the despiece.

Joaquin, many thanks for the explanation of materials used, I can now sleep better.:) much appreciated.

Anders, you were right, I was thrown by the green smearing on the resin cast, it looked like when you've sanded , sometimes the work underneath shows through.

Cheers Ken

That's a great piece of miniature sculpture. I wonder what type of licensing Andrea has set up with the Rockwell family? Just a thought. ~Gary
