Hi to all.......had a great day in the garden and had some bench time to complete this stunning sculpt by Richard Bailey for Bonepartes Military Models..

It's a large figure with plenty of detail to paint..... I painted the cloak separately before attaching to the torso......lots of great detail hidden under the cloak which is a shame but still there underneath.....pleasure to paint, very satisfying.....(y). thanks for looking. Mike

Hi Mike

Lovely result , the yellow looks just right not too bright , like the work on the helmet as well

Capes seem to feature on Richards sculpt , impressive but hiding details as you say

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well

Enter also in June's and vote in May's from late tommorow once set up

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Beautifully painted Mike. I'd never have found the nerve to tackle all of that white and yellow, but you've got it spot-on.

Many thanks for your support keV......you can never have too many cloaks and bandages....lol. Mike

Very nice Mike, I like the weathering of the white items like the gloves and cross belt. It gives me some inspiration to break up the vast white surface of the drummer..
