SCAHMS ALL DAY “WORKSHOP” MODELING CLASS
• Where: La Quinta Inn La Palma, 3 Centerpointe Dr. La Palma CA 90623
• Saturday, July 28th 2012
• Featuring: Sculpting, Painting, Airbrushing, Figures, Vehicles & more
• Hands on work with renowned artists, John Rosengrant, and Bill Horan
• Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm with one hour lunch break
All-day hands on modeling workshop, featuring five categories of modeling. Sculpting and painting figures, flats, Airbrushing: Figures, vehicles, weathering, metalizing, painting large scale figures 1/16th and up, both female and male. This class will feature working one-on-one with some of the world’s most renowned modelers!
• John Rosengrant & Bill Horan – Painting and sculpting figures.
• Penny Meyer – Preparing and painting flats
• David Whitford & Lars Liljeblad Airbrushing, figures: shading, highlighting & effects. Vehicles, painting / weathering, metalizing, acrylics and more.
The class will have a limit of five people per category, and will run $50. Per participant. You may bring your own model and paints, brushes etc. in to work one-on-one with the category & modeler of your choice. There will be a time limit of two hours per person of time spent with specific modeler / teacher. We are now taking reservations for this event!
