Scale Model Handbook 7, Figure Modelling 7 IS OUT!

Dear friends,
I am pleased to inform you that Scale Model Handbook 7, Figure Modelling 7 is OUT!

This is the Seventh Edition in the Scale Model Handbook Series, dedicated to miniature figures. In this latest issue we offer the excellent work of Ernesto Reyes Stalhuth, Javier González (Arsies), Kazufumi Tomori, Grigoris Marmatakis and Christos Stamatopoulos in addition to the work of three new contributors - Sergey Popovichenko, Roman Navarro and Man Jin Kim.

In this issue a variety of themes and techniques is featured; creating bases and scenic settings, painting a modern camouflage uniform and combining acrylic and oil colours for skin tones and leather clothing.

Once again we would like to offer a big “Thank You” to Pietro Balloni and Luca Marchetti of Pegaso Models, and especially all of our contributors for providing us with examples of their awesome work and to Ken Jones for his valuable help with text editing.

Marc, I am sure that you will like it as we have some stuff painting with oils. Personally I must admit that both mediums are useful for specific painting cloths and different textures. So I think that in most cases we have to use all mediums ( even enamels) to depict and succeed the most realistic effect in our figures.

That's great news. I found it a great magazine even the majority of the articles are in acrylic. But I think it is a irreversible process today. Most figures are painted with acrylic.
If you could give us a photoshoot of shows, and some news on figures, maybe a article of a master painter this will be a magazine that can't be ignored. And finally a magazine in the English language that Figurine, Soldatini don't do. Maybe Soldatini into the future.
But for now, it's the best I can get.

I am sorry, there is no any discount for PF members or others individual customers. As my most sales are coming from dealers and distributors this will be unfair for them. So the only thing I have add in my web to save some money for the customers is the combined shipping offers to reduce the postage cost and nothing else.
