How to paint a complicated fantasy bust with a variety of different materials and textures
This is a very cool and original bust from Big Child Creatives (Signature Series), the scale is 1/10th and it has lots of fine details with a lot of different materials and textures to paint. The bust was sculpted by Alejandro Muñoz (“4lex0z”@Alex0z), and represents a kind of fantasy feline in the Maya/Azteca culture, a monster warrior but a very interesting subject and fun to paint. It’s cast in very good quality resin and the detail is excellent, and the parts are easy to clean up before painting. Ernesto Reyes Stalhuth used a combination of Vallejo Model Color, Vallejo Game Color Inks, Vallejo Model Air and AK-Interactive 3Gen acrylics for brush and airbrush painting. The 52 step-by-step large format pictures reveal all the techniques, tips, and effects on how to produce an award-winning creation of a complicated fantasy bust.
