Hi All,
I was one of those people that funded ScaleBro with their Hamster Journey on Kickstarter. I got an email saying they were ready for shipping some time in October, but since then nothing. I sent at least 3 emails, but got no reply.
Does anybody have an email address of the people funning it (not the address on the site, as this is the one I get no replies from).
Thanks in advance

They do run an ebay page I think where some of their products are open for offer.Every time I have made an offer I usualy got a counteroffer a day or so later.

I’m in the same boat as you. The last message I saw said they were trying to ship by mid-December. I find it a little annoying that the Kickstarter figures are being sold on eBay when I don’t have mine yet! This was my first kickstarter and will probably be my last.

There are a few messages posted via the messaging on the Kickstarter site. Most of their answers say shipping from the Netherlands in a couple of weeks.

I do not want to create false impressions.I never said that they are selling the kickstarter items on ebay.I said that they do maintain an ebay web store but all the figures I bought from them were regular releases already in their catalog.

I was a backere in 5 kickstarters, and this one is the only one that did not deliver as promised.
I got in touch with Kickstarter and asked them the question. Answer is that they are not responsible for shipping but the creator of the project is. I can undeerstand that. They also recommended getting in touch via Kickstarter - which I did. Reply is 'Will be shipping from the Netherlands in a couple of weeks'.
All very vague and not at all to my taste. A pitty, as before now my experience with Kickstarter has only been positive.
Will keep you guys updated, and I would appreciate if Gerlad let us know when he gets his delivery.

I've just seen this thread and wanted to share my experiences of Kickstarter.

I first used it three years or so ago and got the Kabuki studio Death Dealer. It went well and the communication was great as an employee was running it. I then ordered Death Dealer 2 on their site - no issues apart from a delay for bases to be delivered. I then backed "Mother of Dragons" - it was late, poor communication and then they started mailing all sorts of other offers, announcing new things but no Kickstarter stuff was delivered. I complained and the the reply was of the nature that you must wait, we're running a business and you shouldn't post criticisms on Kickstarter, f*** you I thought. Anyway my stuff came, during a time it became a Warhammer dealer. Shortly after it was taken over and the website is now gone - good riddance! Also it seems that whoever bought the company only fulfilled the orders this year.

Next up Black Smith miniatures. Excellent communication. They explained the delays due to problems with a couple of sculpts and manufacturing. We were constantly informed and all was delivered with a small delay. A good guy runs this company and in person is friendly and takes trouble to make sure things are correct.

The nest experiences had been with Aradia. These guys communicate all the time. They deliver on time or earlier. I've backed them three times. No issues. A highly recommended company to back or to buy from their webshop. I've met them too - really decent guys who care about their customers.

With the Hamsters Journey the manufacturer is Scalebor but distribution in Europe is by a company called Wendys Miniatures. I've dealt directly with Scalebro (Cartoon Miniatures) in the past and no issues. The issue seems to have been the distribution and now these are in NL they are being sent out. Unfortunately the distributor only says glibly they are being sent middle of October and nothing since. On the basis I shall never ever order anything from Wendys Miniatures and in future will deal directly with Cartoon Miniatures or another of their distributors.

My tuppence worth.

Cheers

Mine was delivered on Monday.

The casting was excellent as always with Scalebro (Cartoon Miniatures). Just wish more communication had come from the distributor on the Netherlands, at least DHL informed me of the despatch and the progress of the package.

I stopped backing Kickstarters a long time ago. I’ve never had one not deliver but a few were years late. And you also deal with BS like the creator selling the stuff retail before the backers even get their stuff.
