Here is the Pegaso 54mm figure of a Gladiator, Scissor. This was alot of fun to paint, especially the body armor. Hope you all like my version of this.
Cheers Andrew

Andrew the armour looks great.
I can see it would have been a lot of fun to paint!Well done.
But I feel the flesh parts should have as much gradation of light and shade as the rest.
I know you've said previously that you only see a monotone when you look at the real thing but all I can say is you're just not looking closely enough.
Look into any face closely and you'll see a myriad of colours.
That said it's a great looking figure.

Hey Stiff
Appreciate the comments, and understand what you mean, though l have to say,all depends on a persons complexion, but in this figures case, the photos l have taken have washed alot of the color out, will try to do some better pics.
Cheers Andrew

This figures armour looks stunning. If metal has shades and so on (and because of dirt) so does skin and all that. The only thing that i fell letting it down is the skin.

Hi Andrew,

The important thing is that you're happy with it mate. Personally, I prefer a bit more contrast too, but each to his own. If you like it and you had fun painting him, that's all that matters.

The metals on this guys armor are top notch Andrew. I like more contrasts in my figures much as the others do, but there is something to be said for what Tony has pointd out as well. I do want to point out one thing though, I see what looks like a pretty pronounced seam line you didn't sand off going down the length of the right arm right on the outer front surface. Don't be in a rush with your prep-work. Keep up the good work!
