I would lose the sporran if I were you, a khaki cover would be more apt. nice dynamic figure though.

Quite so - certainly by the time helmets were issued the kilts were protected by a khaki cover and although the sporran is a splendid bit of kit, they wouldn't have been worn in the trenches.
