This is my attempt at the 120mm Scots Grey, I am a little out of practice and I know there are some painting anomallies there, but feel free to comment. I wanted to capture that pre-charge moment, both horse and rider bracing themselves for the coming moments. Hope you like, Rob (y)

Very nicely done. A minor point regarding the scabbard - most references I have seen show it worn under the sabretache, and the rear sling should be longer.

I hope this does very well for Imperial Gallery.

Only a small point and might be seen a rivet counting but the troopers did not have train lace but a plain blue light, only officers had train lace .Indeed Deighton shows it as plain red, this is from a ex Grey and only meant to help.

Really impressive, very good job!!!
Very well captured the precharge atmosphere. I thought it could be a postcharge, but it's great this way
I am not very sure about the Greys face. I need to see it directly ;)
Hope not too expensive!!
I am sure about its success!!!

It is very nice to see another mounted figure in this scale after a while. The quality seems to be the high standard that is expected from Imperial Gallery(y)(y). Can´t see anything wrong with the paintwork on this one - looks brilliant.
To show him in the field before the charge some minor changes might be considered.
The stirrup straps seem to be quite long which is not recommened if your horse is about to be brought to a trot or gallop. Beneath the position of the sabretache the white gloves with the gauntlets, the oilskin cover of the bearskin and maybe a moustache could be added. All very easy fixes.

( Just had to add this - :))
I am sure that this will become a seller!
Cheers, Martin

Thank you everyone for your generous comments, much appreciated, and thank you for your observations, they are noted. I wanted to include an alternative head with the oil skin cover but have had severe time restraints, but should be easy to sculpt on top of the supplied head. Will be released next week, eve of battle. Again thank you for your remarks.
