TBH there wasn't that much there competition wise.
It's a huge venue (an ice arena minus the ice) with loads of traders but every year the competition entries get less and less. Plus it's 16 quid for two days.
There was only about 7 busts. I don't like to openly decry a fellow modellers work but in one category I saw a dinosaur which looked like it was from a lucky bag take a silver.
I'm no judge but through the years here I've seen horrific pieces beat stunning pieces blatantly and as a result people just don't enter anymore.
One year they got an aircraft modeller to judge the figures and bust section and the smaller pieces won because he reasoned they were harder to paint.o_O
I see the huge difference in the English competitions where it seems much fairer.
Years ago the tables were really full now..........tumble weed. Guess that says it all.

I know what i'd like to do with a sword to wee Nicola, or as she's affectionately known as, Jimmy Krankie.I saw her dad yesterday and felt a wee bit sorry for him.Yes you city boys, she's from just up the road from me.I feel suitably ashamed:(

i voted for her, and feel she should be given the chance to prove herself, she can only be an improvement of what we have had to endure in the past. time will tell.

Give her a chance , If she had been the Labour party leader they would have won the elaction
