Scottish Schiltron, Scotland forever!

Hi All,

The first set for the Scotland campaign has been released, and work has begun on the second set which will be a scottish schiltron (formation of spearmen). Here you can see an image and more at the forum. www.valdemarminiatureforum.com

Nice to see Scots depicted in the correct uniforms for the period and not the kilted warriors from Braveheart.

Well thanks and yes we try to be close to historical correct... and Braveheart is one of my favourite movies as well, so the first set of Scots actually did have a mix as you can see above. this set has been released, link: http://www.fredericus-rex.eu/de/Massstab...ever--1-72.html

And forgot, we actually do consider adding one English knight who has been downed by the Scots, lying/sitting on the ground with his horse and a Scots infantryman running towards him with a flanged Mace above his head, ready to finish the job

And also one mounted English knight using his sword in an attempt to break the scottish formation.
