Here's another view. This is about it for the basic armature. I will add the arms, neck, and head once I get the basic anatomy filled in.

Hi Gary

I have to say thanks for doing this, its making me want to start sculpting more than ever

Dave

Gary, really excellent information on setting out and making up the mannequin..I only wish I was so thorough in my own work. :)

Dave, I've said it before....get that putty out..as Bob said, you'll get frustrated, but it's a great adventure.

All the best.

Roy.

Gary,

You're doing an amazing job laying out the steps for anyone to be able to sculpt. Your systematic approach and attention to detail are top notch and probably not the norm. Being able to see each step of the process is fantastic for those of us who have never tried our hand at sculpting and for those who like to see how others do it. Your efforts are most appreciated. Looking forward to each step of the way.

Gary,

As i follow it closely it looks so easy. I know it isn't.
Roy and Bob say it. Get frustrated.
After Euro there must be enough inspiration to start something.

Marc

Thank you for all the kind words and taking the time to look through the thread. Every figure/bust I've done is a learning experience that has it's share of pitfalls and successes.~Gary

Hi Gary,
I must have been so labor intensive to get these steps up so unselfish, for us we to learn and enjoy. WOW! A unique quality and virtue of a true and great educator!
