Here is the left arm. There is a very thin layer of vaseline on the area where the arm will be positioned. This will create a barrier between the body and the arm and will insure a clean fit. I used a spot of superglue to hold the rod in place while it is being worked on.

The arm following the first layer of Sculpey. I will add a little more material to fill out the arm. I'm only concerned with getting the arm roughed in as there is no need to detail the musculature.

The back right side. As the right arm will be raised I added a little more to the right upper shoulder area with putty.

Tor, I have been slacking off huh buddy? After I post another pic or so of the roughed in arms I'm going to hold off on doing the hands and start on the shirt that will be worn underneath the jacket.~Gary

I really appreciate your kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the sbs.

As for a book, aside from the sculpting, I do not fancy myself much of a writer. I'm also not looking to be a celebrity in the miniature hobby. I enjoy sharing what I do and find it very rewarding.~Gary

Your skills are only surpassed by your humility, gary. Thanks for your effort here. It has been truly helpful in my first figure sculpt.

Brian, Thank you again. Though I have far from mastered the art of sculpting, I take pride in being humble with my efforts and ability thus far. I likewise admire folks that are humble verses those that wear their egos on their sleeve, which is a turn off.~Gary
