Sculpting body parts compatibility!!

Hello all PF members. I would like to ask your help regarding the various body parts that float on the market. For example I would like to ask if the Verlinden heads go well with the Michael Roberts hands etc etc.
I would like to start my venture into the sculpting world...and It would be very useful what parts can be used with what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Xenofon, other than size issues (and there will be some variation!) I think this is also a matter of taste, in whether the style of parts sculpted by different people go together. For 54mm for example there are some old Verlinden spare hands that I have a couple of but I wouldn't use them with the resin Historex heads (sculpted by Julian Hullis) because the quality of the sculpting on them made the hands look poor.

My friend Einion thanks a lot for your response. I understand what you said...but I would also like to know, if possible what body parts go with what and I mean size-wise. We all know hornet heads are true 54mm or even a bit smaller...but can we compine them in a figure with the Michael Roberts hands? Or the hands will be too big? That's what I would like to know. Regarding the quality of each part that's a well know issue...but in my opinion the difference in size counts more.
