Hey all i was just wondering how you all sculpt buttons on clothing? the scale i am working with is 1:35 so its kinda small and buttons are a pain in the butt to do. any tips or hints? Thanks

This is how I do it. I use the back end of a drill bit the size I want the buttons and the press it thru sheet lead. Here are a few pictures. I hope it helps.

I'm using wire for makinkg buttons. At first i'm drilling little, tiny hole in unioform, then pun in with CA glue lead or tin wire (ca 10 mm). Then i cut off that wite 1-1,5 mm from clothes. At the end i'm flatting that wire to have button. As soon as it possible i'll give You some photos..

I mainly make tiny blobs of putty and stick them on. Also , lately I've used a tool made by an Italian company I sculpt for. it's designed to make buttons , obviously. If I get permission I can tell you the company name. I want to make sure I don't use the site for illicit purposes

I get small discs of lead foil by using a punch & die set.
I also used plastic rod, cutting thin discs from it (like cutting salami slices) or doing the same with a tiny thin roll of putty.
