Brilliant Cal! That's gotta be 54mm or so eh?

Aeronaudts, that's a cool effect there. It looks like they're on the right track.

excellent work, mine is larger, just about to ask at pf if the waistcoat had lapels(photo not to clear) but can see from your work that it has when compared to the photo.
Bob

To all the brave sculptors out there - keep going and thank you for a wonderful thread. Keep up the great work - it has been great for a non-sculptor to share in this interesting thread.

Cheers

Hi All

On behalf of Bob Parker, I'm posting a couple of images of Bob's work for this challenge.

Photos took at our Xmas night at our club (not ideal conditions) which was yesterday

Bob, I'm sure will comment, but i'll say what I know.

Sculpted in milliput (cos he'd run out of MagiSculp, his preferred medium).

Done, I believe, very quicky: he knows he should slow down........

He knows the shoulders are too narrow, and knowing Bob he's probably corrected this already, and also picked up on the neck length comments further back in this thread (it's pretty big now....)

Here pic 1

amazing how rough they look in this size!!!!!!!!!!!
shoulders reworked, head lowerd and new nose, will spend some time on it and asked Rob to put up a finished photo in the new year.
any other advice would be welcomed.
Bob

Nice. Great to see another piece, I like the tilt of his head, not sure if it was intentional but it works. I hope to have more pics of mine by the weekend.~Gary

Thanks, the head is now on straight, liked it as it was but made the neck look a little longer than the photo so he's had the chop, a new nose, and am working the jacket up a bit finer,
since starting this i have seen a number of posed studio photos of
american Indians, all seem to have hunched up shoulders and no necks , which seems to narrow their shoulders, any thoughts?.
Bob.
