Hey Guys!

I am having a small dilemma! I am trying to sculpt some stars on some mochasins, and I have tried but it is hard to get them even.

I tried a single push mold of a shennendoah PE flag but they are too thin and too large.

Any ideas?

Hey Gray,

That is what I tried to do with the shennendoah flag. What I have done now is cut out the PE star, made a push mold and I will now make a copy of it in epoxy and then thinn it down. However your idea about the sprue might just work like a charm too, so I will go try that! Thanks!

Hey Gray,

DOH!

Wish I would have stayed here and lisstened to your advice...I already dripped some melted plastic on my thumb

I will try it with your suggestion again!

Another option is to buy some foil cut stars at a craft store. They usually come in large, inexpensive bags. You can get a variety of sizes and thicknesses. Some are confetti, others or for decorating packages, etc.
