I do not sculpt but would like to make a scarf for my roman centurion. My idea was to use aves magic scuplt and let it set for about twenty minutes then roll a thin strip and wrap arund the neck and tie it like a scarf. does this sound feasable or should I be doing something extra? BTW anybody have suggestions for sites with pictures showing roman soldiers with scarfs?

Nice idea but no, it's almost impossible to do this in practice.

Neck scarfs worn by the Romans weren't tied anyway, they appear from the representations to just overlap at the front. The best way of doing this is just to sculpt the putty in place on the figure.
