Fleshtones look really good! I never thought I'd live to see the day James Bond becomes religious

Hey Costas!

I think you have a nice start! The over all highlights are fairly good, and mostly in the right places. I think from the nose tip and down it looks pretty good (nose looks nice too), but above this it needs some more work. The colors are fine, but more blaneding will be necessary, especially under the eyes. This will be easy to do though, just mix the color you used for the highlights and shadows and mix them together and apply thin washes until they blend together. The forehead looks pretty good, I would suggest to make the lines go all the way instead of abrubtly stopping (on his right side). I think the face could use a lighter highlight on the tips and on the top side of the creases.

The biggest thing to work on is the blending! Like I said, you have a great start, and the facial hair looks sharp. Keep it up my man!

Well thanks guys for your comments. Dear Anders as i stated thats a start , and i agree on all your comments , cause i know that i have left these items undone and unfinishes, and also need to do some lips work there.
As it improves i ll post again. Thanks for helpin

Hi Costas,
Very nice job on Sean. You're definitely improving.
Is this your first bust? How do you like doing a face that big? Lots of people don't seem to like them that big.
I'm looking forward to seing more of this one.
Good luck,
Craig

Hi Costas,

Nice work and you had made tremendeous progress with your painting skill. Good to see you paint other subject matters.

Great transition on highs and shadows.

BTW, Name of the Rose is a pretty good movie and even better book.

Hi Costas!

I agree with Anders that the blending of the highlights and shadows needs a little more care and work. As it is already painted you can try taking the basecolour and dilute it with 80-90% thinner and apply it like one of MIGs filters to see if the edges softens. I do that often but Im using Humbrol. So Im not sure whether theres a difference in other brands. And this can be repeated many times.

The white areas of the beard could need some shadows in the crevices.

However it seem to be coming out good. An natural improvement from your bust of Jack Nicholsson as colonel.

Costas

I think his flesh tones look pretty sweet. Can't wait to see it finished!
