John, Rob, Ron, Marcel, Andrew, Paul - thank you very much for your interest and comments.
Andrew - the colour mix is rahter simple, basically two paints, Vallejo turquoise 70966 + blue green 808. Shadows done with a bit of dark prussian blue, highlights with addition of some beige.
But, in reality colour is a little bit less blue than in the photos.

As you can see from todays pictures, work is slowly advancing. Armour is almost ready, but I can see in the photos, there are some minor touch -ups needed. The heraldry design (lion, I've been told) need a few details (tongue, claws). Wepon is just basecoated.
Comments are welcome, whether you like it or not.
Cheers.

Hi Mate
this is coming along nicely. the lion is whats known as a rampant lion. i.e standing on its hind legs, nice to see that he isnt carrying the usual sword or axe aswell. keep it coming

Paul

A striking piece indeed!!!!!!

One to be proud of and show off,... DEFINITELY!

Looking forward to following your progress!

Paul, Kevin, thanks for nice comments.
Today some new pictures. Model is practically finished, few details to be done, and the base, of course.
For the finished model I'll probably start a new thread.
I hope you like this mini.
Comments are welcome :)

Thanks for your comment Marc. The figure is already finished, but I'm going to present it in a separate thread.
