Hi all, my friends! Today I finished another figure. I think that gladiator it needs no presentation ...
I will say that once again tested the oil on top of acrylic to paint the body ... something happened ...

Beautifully painted Sergey, FULL of character. Perhaps you can share your colour mix for the flesh tones.

Thank you!
Skin color, I can tell, not even stirred. I paid a top coat brush, a few layers of flesh acrylic. You can use any matte acrylic usual pinkish hue. Then I began to apply the basic shade of burnt umber oil color. So that would be a small part umber covered almost the entire surface of the body. Then I made the first pure white lightening. I have to feather it in the brightest locations. The next day, added more shadows and light. By umber mixes black. Black with linseed oil neatly painted hair. Some where on the body, I feather the burnt siena.

This is the best one I've seen painted and there are some incredible examples out there but this one is tops in my book. Just fantastic painting.

They're amazing fresh tone and metallic color, Sergey.
Indeed I felt the atmosphere of the sturdy soldier.
Great finish!
I congratulate completion.

Mitsutaka.
