Excellent subject, pose etc, I fell in love with these when I seen the pictures and then read that they were 54mm and had to deal with the reality that my eyes wont do the job, however the will look fantastic when the 54mm painters get the hold of them, well done with this great release pity it wasn't in 120mm.

Guys: Check the dates!!! This is a "zombie" thread from 2018.

Semper Fidelis ceased trading some time ago, and most of their former range (although apparently NOT this release) has since been acquired by Artsoldiers Miniaturas. And another Spanish outfit Big Child Creatives acquired the rights to the former SF series of 75mm Romans collectively titled "The Brothers Resist Together".

I will also add that this pair of Normans is not as impressive up close as it is in the photos, as the underscale heads are way too small. This issue was discussed on here previously, and I ended up selling mine on as it was something that I couldn't let slide.

Good morning Steve!

Tell him that I agree with you that the final edition of the resin figures was closer to a 1/35 large than a real 54.
It is a problem that arose when scaling the final designs with the 3D printer.

Also tell him that Semper Fidelis has not ceased his activity, only that I, as the only worker and person in charge of the brand, have suffered a long and hard health problem throughout the second half of 2019 from which I am finishing recovering.
As soon as I do it, I will return with renewed efforts and with a wider and reinforced structure so that everything does not depend on me.
In the end what are of resin and metal are the figures.
We are people. Meat and bone.

Thank you very much for the interest in my figures.

Greetings Planeteers.

Very sorry to hear that, but glad to hear that you are now on the mend. Looking forward to your return to the hobby and seeing what plans you have for new releases. And I think it's only fair to point out that I also have a number of your other figures (some under the SF label and others in their ASM boxings), all of which are very nice pieces.

Thanks you Steve! I hope to return strongly to historical modeling.
That is not by illusion and desire to do different things.
A hug and thanks for your words.

Is this cast or 3D?

I'm totaly confused......but....if I understand it correctly this is a post from 2018 offering a limited number of this vignette by a producer who, I guess shortly after, stopped due to health problems......
So...I guess this vgnette is not for sale but the reactions of the former company-director might suggest it might be in the near future.
Is that correct or......
Btw looking at the picture of this vignette being a 3D print I must admit it is not very good and detailed. It does not even come close to what the picture in the first post of this topic suggest.
As for Mr Semperfidelis (?), hope you get well soon ( I don't need the hug, by the way...LOL)

Since I absolutly don't understand a word you are saying ( and I truly mean that ) I will not even try to make a comment on it thus avoiding to make the mistake of saying the wrong things.

He is correct in everything, except that the vignette is no longer on sale for a long time. You can find a copy at a distributor that still has it in stock, but the vignette has not been sold since February 2019.
I will not enter into the debate of whether the 3d is more appropriate or less to show the images of the figures. The truth is that they are still an artistic representation of the unpainted figure. The casting of my figures has always been taken care of to the maximum, another thing is that I want to see the preciousness and the millimeter detail of a render in resin figures, that is not so.
But I don't understand why this debate is with my figures when 70 percent of what goes on the market today is 3D and all active manufacturers use the same images in the form of 3D renders.
Tell them that in my next round the figures will not be in 3D.
So to the most classic I am sure it will look better.

Thank you for your wishes.

We are already three that we do not understand, to me personally that I do not master English or I have to use a translator yet.
By the way I have these figures to paint and I agree that they are not perfect but they have in my opinion a more than acceptable quality.
Santi.
